CQP: Team Leader in the Food Industry

The CQP (Certificate of Professional Qualification) in Team Leadership is a training program that prepares candidates to take on leadership roles within a work team.

You will be

The team leader in the food sector is responsible for coordinating, managing, and leading a team’s activities by anticipating issues and paying close attention to the implementation of corrective actions. On a day-to-day basis, they organize and execute the production schedule while managing the personnel, materials, and processes within their unit, workshop, or team. They therefore occupy the first level of the management hierarchy, providing on-the-ground leadership for production teams (line supervisors, operators), maintenance teams (maintenance technicians, coordinators), and logistics teams (receiving and shipping agents).

The certification in question comprises four competency modules; these modules are assessed, and successful completion leads to the issuance of a certificate detailing the competencies acquired. To obtain the certification in question, all competency modules must be successfully completed in their entirety.

Diploma/certification

Level 5 Professional Qualification Certificate in "Food Industry Team Leader," registered in the RNCP under number 39972 by decision of the Director General of France Compétences dated December 18, 2024, issued by OCAPIAT, NSF code 221p

Continuing education

The primary goal of the CQP is to facilitate entry into the workforce. However, students may choose to continue their studies toward another cross-industry professional qualification certificate (CQPI). Created by multiple professional sectors, CQPIs certify the acquisition of a core set of skills common to several occupations, thereby creating bridges between occupations and sectors.
