CMI UK – Level 7 International Certificate of Excellence for Executives and Managers in Leadership, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship
Global recognition in strategic leadership
Today, the CMI has become the global benchmark for leadership and strategic management. With more than 180,000 members worldwide, it brings together a community of leaders committed to transforming organizations, territories, and complex ecosystems.
Major corporations such as Rolls-Royce, Tesco, HSBC, and British Telecom have already trained their managers, and prestigious schools such as Harvard, Oxford, and the London School of Business offer this certification.
Its certifications are aligned with the most demanding standards in terms of strategy, change management, performance management, and managerial innovation.
International recognition, an elite standard, a community of certified leaders
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is much more than a certification body: for over 75 years, it has been the institution that embodies managerial excellence in the United Kingdom and around the world. Founded in 1947 to professionalize the role of manager, in 2002 the CMI received the Royal Charter from the British Privy Council, establishing management as a noble, strategic, and structuring profession for modern societies.
This royal charter gives the CMI unique legitimacy: it is the only body authorized to award the title of "Chartered Manager," the highest distinction for executives and managers in the United Kingdom. This title is recognized as a guarantee of competence, ethics, and leadership in more than 100 countries.
Managers agree that becoming certified has made them better managers.
Certified managers say that CMI certification provides a real competitive advantage.

Educational objectives
The format is compatible with a skills development plan: neither too short to be superficial, nor too long to disrupt teams. It can be divided into two or three blocks to facilitate logistics, with days spent at different locations, and skills development. It fits well into an annual calendar with recurring promotions. The cost remains manageable for the company, especially with reduced out-of-pocket expenses.
Certification can be offered in all three territories or tailored to suit individual needs by combining training days at our three academic centers (the institution is Erasmus-approved):
