A machine operator in the dairy processing industry operates one or more mechanized or automated machines—whether or not they are part of a production line—in accordance with instructions and standards for hygiene, productivity, quality, safety, and the environment.

The certification in question consists of two skill modules; these modules are assessed, and successful completion leads to the issuance of a certificate detailing the skills acquired. To obtain the certification in question, all skill modules must be successfully completed in their entirety.

Level 3 Professional Qualification Certificate in "Dairy Processing Machine Operator," registered in the RNCP under number 39754 by decision of the Director General of France Compétences dated October 31, 2024, issued by the French Dairy Processing Association, NSF code 221u
Continuing education
The primary goal of the CQP is to facilitate entry into the workforce. However, students may choose to continue their studies toward another cross-industry professional qualification certificate (CQPI). Created by multiple professional sectors, CQPIs certify the acquisition of a core set of skills common to several occupations, thereby creating bridges between occupations and sectors.
