The certification in question comprises four competency modules; these modules are assessed, and successful completion leads to the issuance of a certificate detailing the competencies acquired. To obtain the certification in question, all competency modules must be successfully completed in their entirety.

However, students may choose to continue their studies toward another cross-industry professional qualification certificate (CQPI). Created by multiple professional sectors, CQPIs certify the acquisition of a core set of skills common to several occupations, thereby creating bridges between occupations and sectors.
