786 hours of vocational and general education at a training center, including assessments
A minimum of 20 weeks of internships: in institutional food service, in a hospital setting, and at a public health facility (in the field of dietetics and nutrition)

Assessment methods

Final written, practical, and oral exams

The degree in question consists of five course units. Each unit is assessed through an exam. To earn the degree, students must achieve an average grade of at least 10 out of 20 across all exams. Passed exams remain valid.

Diploma/certification

Level 5 Advanced Technician Certificate in "Dietetics and Nutrition," registered with the RNCP under number 40028, by decision of the Director General of France Compétences dated December 20, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, NSF code 331

Continuing education

The primary goal of the BTS in Nutrition is to prepare students for the workforce. However, continuing one’s education is also an option:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or the Agri-Food Industry
  • DU Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases
  • DU Sports Nutrition
  • DU in Patient Education
