On February 6, 2024, The Land hosted the third edition of the symposium "Agriculture: a major factor in meeting environmental challenges?", offering a day of sharing and discussion.
This event provided a platform for reflection where renowned experts, researchers, and economic, political, and institutional actors had the opportunity to share their ideas.

Jean-Marc Esnault, Managing Director of The Land: Opening of the conference with a discussion on the challenges of land artificialization and innovative prospects for sustainable agriculture.
Philippe Dessertine, Associate Professor and Director of the Institut de Haute Finance: Providing insight into the economic impact of new agricultural models and the need for environmentally friendly growth.
Walter Bouvais, entrepreneur, co-founder with an ecological focus, founder of Terra Eco magazine: Discussion on the importance of a comprehensive approach to addressing the challenges of ecological and agricultural transition.
André Comte-Sponville, philosopher, author, and lecturer: Philosophical closing remarks for the symposium, offering reflections on the relationship between humans and nature, and how to realign our actions with our environmental values.
