On November 14, as partof the National Agriculture and Food Conference, the third issue of Ruralités magazine was unveiled in preview. This magazine, produced in collaboration withOuest-France, is an invaluable tool for understanding and promoting rural dynamics.
Invited by Sébastien Grosmaître, editor-in-chief of Ouest-France, and Gaël Desgrées du Loû, master of ceremonies, Jean-Marc Esnault, managing director of The Land campus, presented this new issue of Ruralités.
Inspiring contributions
Among the authors who have contributed to this edition are such iconic figures as Jacques Attali, economist and writer, Henry Buzy-Cazaux, president of the Institute for Real Estate Services Management and member of the National Housing Council, Xavier Fontanet, associate professor of strategy at HEC Paris, and Julie Biron, CSR consultant, who provide an informed perspective on the issues affecting our countryside.
Their reflections, rooted in multidisciplinary approaches, illustrate the diversity of challenges and solutions specific to rural areas. In addition, field reports by Vanessa Ripoche, Emmanuelle François, Kate Stent, Angelina Dionisi, and Pauline Bourdet, journalists at Ouest-France, highlight innovative local initiatives, proving that rural areas are a fertile ground for social and entrepreneurial innovation.

This issue explores a variety of essential topics such as the economy and tourism, with development models adapted to rural areas; methanization and housing, offering innovative solutions for ecological transition; and finally, CSR and philosophy, which invite us to rethink the links between rurality, business, and society.
A collective project
This success is the result of a collaborative effort between Ouest-France and the campus think tank, Terre d'Avenir.
With this new issue, Ruralités aims to raise collective awareness of the potential of rural areas.
