There are words that have that power! Culture is the common foundation of values that makes an individual develop a sense of belonging to a group and a territory. In other words, culture both roots people and connects them to one another. Putting down roots, finding oneself among one's own kind, and opening up to the world is the tour de force, the balancing act, the impossible challenge that the word culture takes on when we think of it in all its meanings.
Le 7 is not just a new cultural space for expression, nor is it merely an additional entity among the 31 entities that make up The Land project on 7 hectares on the outskirts of Rennes.
The 7 stands out as the obvious choice, the place where you can see and hear what drives The Land community on a daily basis.
Because there can be no society without culture, The Land, with its new vision of the challenges of transition, could not do without a cultural program.
A place of excitement, encounters, and exchanges of ideas, Le 7 offers a decidedly eclectic program. Our speakers, artists, TV shows, and events are aimed at citizens, in the sense of city dwellers who are keen to learn more in order to participate in social debate.
We want to question the world as it is and as it should be, what it tells us about who we are, sometimes show the horizons that lie ahead of us, highlight commitment in all its forms...
