Creation of the La Terre et les Hommes endowment fund

développement des territoires ruraux

Promoting new rurality and new lifestyles in our regions is The Land's mission. That is why The Land has created the "La Terre et les Hommes" endowment fund in collaboration with regional stakeholders. The aim is to raise additional funding through sponsorship from companies, institutions, individuals, and associations that wish to further their commitment to the regions.

Aware of developments in the agricultural and rural world, The Land is convinced of the need to develop new models for better, more equitable, more collaborative, more resilient, more decentralized, and more humane coexistence. Rural areas are changing, and project leaders, thinkers, scientists, and citizens need support in order to unite and catalyze this societal and rural transformation.

What is an endowment fund?

It is a non-profit organization that brings together women and men who want to carry out a joint project. The purpose of this association is to carry out a project or mission of general interest by providing it with funding.

This may be a philanthropic, educational, scientific, social, humanitarian, sporting, family, or cultural endeavor. The public interest organization may also aim to promote artistic heritage, protect the natural environment, or disseminate French culture, language, and scientific knowledge.

Building on its daily commitment to promoting a new rurality, its expertise in many areas, and the support of its partners, The Land wishes to expand its thinking and actions on land use planning and amplify its public interest approach by creating the "La Terre et les Hommes" endowment fund.

The purpose of the endowment fund is to promote and develop initiatives that contribute to the vitality of rural areas, such as research and experimentation projects that contribute to rural development, forward-looking work on land use planning and the future of our countryside, cultural/artistic events, projects, and initiatives, and information campaigns on rural life.

Companies can thus benefit from a tax reduction of up to 60% of the amount paid. Individuals are granted an income tax reduction equal to 66% of the amount paid, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income.
