An RNCP qualification is a training course listed in the French National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP). Registration with the RNCP is the first guarantee of the quality and reliability of a training course. The RNCP lists all training programs and qualifications certified by the National Commission for Professional Certification (CNCP). A certified qualification allows its holder to prove the skills, abilities, and knowledge necessary to practice a profession or activity in a professional field.
The diploma certifies a level of education and a course of study. The RNCP title is mainly linked to a job function and is based on collective agreements in various sectors with regard to the skills required and recognized by the professional world to perform a job.
This registration is valid for five years and may be renewed, subject to certain conditions. In particular, it must be demonstrated that the training program meets a need in the job market and that young people who have completed such a program are able to find employment at the level indicated in the certification.
