Eloquentia: public speaking contest at The Land

Eloquentia is an educational program of general interest launched in 2012. It enables young people to express themselves freely and gain self-confidence through courses and public speaking competitions. Eloquentia programs are developed throughout France, from middle schools to universities.

Eloquentia enables 18-30 year olds to speak in public and trains them in the art of public speaking.

Since public speaking is not traditionally taught in universities, The Land has developed a public speaking program called Eloquentia, which is open to all students. The competition is free and open to all young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who live or study in the department.

The aim is to use public speaking to promote young people's personal development and help them gain confidence through masterclasses and workshops led by public speaking professionals. The format is open: participants can express themselves through traditional speech, rap, slam poetry, stand-up comedy, and more.

A 100% human project that frees up ideas, words, and talents and gives young people the opportunity to express themselves in a supportive environment where respect and listening reign supreme.

The Eloquentia Rennes competition is organized to select the best speaker in the department, who will then meet the other winners from the other competition branches at the international final organized by Eloquentia World.
